Wartime Witness News

A special thanks to everyone who participated in the interviews conducted in the Bastogne area last weekend during the Battle of the Bulge ceremonies.  Thanks to the Hunscher family for their great hospitality as well as my camerman Laci who braved the elements to capture footage of the reenactment of the battle for Recogne, Belgium, a town that changed hands between the Americans and Germans several times between Dec 16th 1944 and January 1945.  A return to Belgium is planned for February to conduct additional interviews.
