This Sunday, Erzsebet Szemes, the woman who is featured in the Stories from the Warchest, will make a special donation to the Illinois Holocaust Museum in Skokie, Illinois.  When Erzsi arrived to the Allendorf labor camp in Germany from Auschwitz, they were given new identities--an individual number that was to be worn on their clothes.  When Erzsi took the risk to escape to the nearby woods during a 3 day death march in the Spring of 1945, she took one thing with her to remember her captivity--Her Number.  After 66 years, she will donate that artifact to the museum as part of the Meeting History tour.  Please join us from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for a screening of "The Selection" and a Q & A with Erzsi and the other members of the tour.
